Hairdressing is my passion, and I love every aspect of it. I have dedicated the past years to creating a standard of skill and customer service that I feel every customer deserves. Making people feel comfortable and gaining their trust by truly listening to what their wishes are I feel like we can make a difference.
Coming from a hairdressers family that has been around for over 25 years I have worked for several years in our family business. Following in my mum’s foot steps I started my journey in the salon and I gained experience with photo shoots and competitions. These include winning first place of the ‘Keune Young Talent’ award.
I wanted to create a space that is fun, social and feels welcoming, and therefore I hope you will love the experience of ‘ILLICIT HAIR‘ as much as I have enjoyed creating it for you.

I first started working in a salon when I was 14 at school. Once I had finished school, I completed an apprenticeship with the salon and then went on to complete my level 3 & 4 NVQ's.
I continued to work in the salon during which I completed various courses as well as travelled to the Dominican Republic to promote the salon which was an amazing experience! I worked at the salon up until I had my first child, from there I worked mobile for 10 years as it fit in easier with my life at the time.
I joined Illicit Hair in September 2019 and have loved being here ever since.
I love being back in a salon, meeting such a variety of people and being responsible for making them feel amazing! Illicit Hair always has a positive vibe, we love creating fabulous hair for our fabulous clients!
I was so happy to be offered junior stylist at ILLICIT HAIR after a period of work experience with the team.
I'm passionate about hairdressing because it is such a creative skill. I used my creativity at university, completing a degree in model making and costume design. I also have a qualification in counselling so I am a great listener!
I completed my Level 2 and 3 hairdressing diplomas in June 2023, with distinctions across the board.
I love getting to know new clients and welcoming regulars back to the salon. I enjoy creating contemporary styles and particularly love anything curly and colourful!
